On Friday night my friend Kenda brought her kids over to entertain us and keep our minds off the fact that we are still waiting for the baby to arrive. Her boys, Ben and Jon Thomas played Wii with Charlie, while she and I and baby Macy played with toys in our nursery and sorted baby clothes.
Anyway, we played and talked and it took our minds off of things for awhile. It was nice to be focused on other things, and not waiting for the phone to ring. But now that I have typed that, my stomach is in butterflies again.
Oh well. I was calm while it lasted.
I am a woman with more questions than answers. I am constantly searching, learning, decorating, loving and muddling my way through this life. I live under His grace. I stray daily from my faith, my diet, the road, but never my husband. I could eat a whole dish of tiramisu and not feel guilty. I could knit a sweater with all the dog hair on my floor, if I swept it up, or knew how to knit. I am hanging on, holding out, and hoping for the best God has to offer.

She's got nibblin' cheeks. I love that in a baby. You just grab em and want to nibble, nibble, nibble. She is a doll!
I'm glad you had some fun. One day at a time. Watching your journey here has been so amazing. It makes me sad I don't live close by to actually get to know you in person, but being bloggy buds is great! Hang in there. She'll be in your arms before you know it!
What a great photo. I hope she got a copy. I have a habit of taking lots of photos of the hubby and teen and very little including me.
Oh, don't forget to stop by my blog and leave a comment.
I'm celebrating my 4 year anniversary with a drawing for a $25 gift certificate from vinylvineyard at Etsy.
I want to pinch those cute little cheeks. Adorable pictures! Hang in there. I know the waiting seems endless!
