Today I am out of town and I braved flying a plane for a library workshop. My husband and Mom were so excited to eat out while I am gone. Guess where they are going? Somewhere fancy, you think?

Warmed over food is not my thing.

I am a woman with more questions than answers. I am constantly searching, learning, decorating, loving and muddling my way through this life. I live under His grace. I stray daily from my faith, my diet, the road, but never my husband. I could eat a whole dish of tiramisu and not feel guilty. I could knit a sweater with all the dog hair on my floor, if I swept it up, or knew how to knit. I am hanging on, holding out, and hoping for the best God has to offer.

Okay, did you fly the plane? You are brave! And I'm not sure what K&W is since I don't think we have that chain here, but I like buffets like that too, actually! I used to go to one our town's old people buffets all the time with my mom when I visited her and I'm so disappointed it's closed now. They had the best bisquits! My husband hates eating at those places, too! I guess part of me is just an old person at heart!

This is why we are friends, Sissy. Warmed over food? A buffet that must be protected by a (gulp!) sneeze guard? Congealed veggies, cold meat, and dry breads?
