Can I just say that I normally hate Walmart and I don't shop there much. Not much at all. I don't like the bad lighting and the crowds and the odd selection of stuff they stock. I like a SuperWalmart alright...one with a McDonald's ain't half bad. But even then, we have to drive 40 minutes to a nice one and I don't have the time, the inclination, or the gas. Plus, my friendly neighborhood Target is three minutes away.
Then my Mom moved to town. From a town that only had a Walmart. And she needs her Walmart fix every now and then and she took me with her last week.
Look what I found.
Cute plaid pajama pants. With a satin ribbon. For $10.
Now, these were hidden amongst a big rack of nothing special. And they were the coolest things I saw the whole trip, but they are soft and cute and I bought a black shirt to go with them. I love them.
Am I a convert? No.
I will continue to be happy with my well-lit, cheerily decorated, slightly more expensive but better quality Target around the corner. As it is, I feel like I have cheated on Target by showing you all these flannel pants, but they are so cute. I had to. I did also show you my pink plaid flip flops from Target, so I guess my conscience is clear.
It feels so good to un-burden.

I, too, cheat at Wal-Mart. It's not often, but happens occasionally in a moment of extreme weakness. I'm not proud...
Don't feel bad. I have a Super Walmart across the road and have come to be very grateful for it. I can't buy clothes for myself but their kids clothes are good and cheaper than anywhere else. I actually love roaming the store now (eek!) I am finally coming to terms with this. Though I don't often admit to it! If I saw those pants I'd buy 'em too!
I also cheat at Wal-Mart. You can find some great deals there. I have a skirt that I have had for 4 years and it was $6 on the clearance rack...so many people ask about it when I wear it, and then I have 2 other skirts from this past summer that I got there...they look like they came from Ann Taylor Loft! So go for it, girl! Wear those cute PJ's!
Oh how I wish we had a Target, but all we have is a Super Walmart :o(
Okay, I just read your smarty comment on my blog. I shouldn't even be sweet enough to let you know that I corrected my recipe...making it more fattening and less DISGUSTING. I left out some key steps. SO SUE ME!!
Check it out now and get to cookin'.

We don't even have a Target in Canada...boohoo...I've been before. Now I just wish they would travel north like Wal-Mart has.
...but we DO have an IKEA here.YAY!
My Mother in Law HATES Wal-Mart and all it stands for. She would rather die than step foot in one let alone be seen in one. Everyone knows her feelings therefore if she were to be caught in one she'd never hear the end of it. As for me, I love the photo shop there. It's about all I get there other than occasional food.
